We organize the Lisbon Dance Summit (LDS), an annual gathering that brings together professionals, artists, and enthusiasts in the electronic music scene through a conference with industry panels and networking, brand experiences, and a festival featuring live performances and club events. We deliver this via our official website(s) (including but not limited to www.lisbondancesummit.com, related digital platforms, mobile applications, and social media channels (our own and those of collaborating partners). These channels, together with any linked apps or interfaces, form our “Platform.”
To run LDS effectively, we sometimes need to process personal data from attendees, delegates (conference participants), festival visitors, artists, speakers, and other users (collectively “you” or “users”).
Providing personal data is not mandatory to browse our Platform, but certain features—such as ticket purchases, registrations, or newsletter subscriptions—require it. Conference delegates may also submit professional details (e.g., job title, company name, phone number, company address). We mainly use this to fulfill your registration, process payments, and manage our internal records.
Partner & Third-Party Information Data obtained via trusted collaborators, such as:
Ticketing or accommodation partners (e.g., payment processors or travel services you use);
Event promoters or venues involved in the festival program;
Social login providers or integrated services (e.g., when you connect via Instagram, Spotify, or similar).
Event Attendance Records Information about which performances, panels, or venues you attended (e.g., via wristband/RFID check-ins at festival locations).
Behavioral & Interest Data Aggregated or anonymized insights into your preferences, online interactions, and purchase patterns (used only in non-identifiable form unless you explicitly consent otherwise).

We may also create anonymized datasets from combined sources for purposes like system testing, market analysis, service improvements, and developing new features.

For delegates only: share limited profile info (e.g., name, company/role) with other delegates via the app or directory to facilitate networking (legitimate interests in delivering the full conference value; sensitive details like email/phone require your consent);
Personalize your experience, recommend relevant sessions/artists, and improve the Platform (legitimate interests or consent);
Send newsletters, Event news, or artist updates (only with your consent);
Conduct market research or send targeted promotions/advertising (consent or legitimate interests);
Analyze attendance and popularity of sessions/venues to enhance future Events and verify promoter obligations (legitimate interests; non-anonymized use only with consent);
Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting) or protect our rights.
You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 6).
3. Sharing with Third Parties
We share data only when necessary and transparent:
With service providers (processors) who help run the Platform (e.g., hosting, ticketing, email services)—they are bound by strict agreements to protect your data at the same level;
With Event partners/venues/promoters when required for service delivery (e.g., ticket validation);
If you opt into partner services, data goes directly to them under their policies;
In rare cases: to comply with law, prevent fraud, or protect rights/safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
